Delhi Metro
The Delhi Metro is a rapid transit system serving Delhi and its satellite cities in the National Capital Region of India, operated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). It opened on 25 December 2002 and has since grown into one of the largest metro networks in the world, with color-coded lines plus the dedicated Airport Express Line linking New Delhi Railway Station to Indira Gandhi International Airport. As of mid-2026 the network is in the midst of Phase IV expansion, with several new stations and the new Golden Line under construction.
