Hyderabad Metro parking is genuinely in flux right now - older stations mostly run on flat time-based rates, while a newer smart parking system is rolling out station by station. Here's what applies where.
Standard station parking (older system)
| Vehicle | Up to 2 hrs | Up to 8 hrs | Up to 12 hrs | Extra hour |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Two-wheeler | ₹10 | ₹25 | ₹40 | ₹5 |
| Four-wheeler | ₹30 | ₹75 | ₹120 | ₹15 |
Park Hyderabad - the newer smart parking system
At select stations, a newer app-based system called Park Hyderabad replaces the flat rates above with hourly, GST-inclusive pricing:
- Bikes: ₹3/hour
- Cars: ₹8/hour
- Short-term app booking: from ₹5 (up to 2 hours) to ₹30 for a full day (up to 15 hours)
- Monthly NFC passes for regular commuters, at roughly 50% off the standard rate
Parking is free for cycles and for vehicles used by persons with disabilities. Park Hyderabad operates 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
Which one applies to your station?
Coverage is rolling out gradually and isn't uniform across the network yet - some stations still run the older flat-rate system, others have switched to Park Hyderabad. Check signage at your specific station, since assuming one system applies everywhere could mean you're quoted the wrong price.
Bottom line
If you're parking regularly at the same station, look for Park Hyderabad - the per-hour rate and monthly pass are meaningfully cheaper than the standard flat fees. Cyclists and PWD drivers park free either way.
