Navi Mumbai Metro
The Navi Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit system serving Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, built and operated by CIDCO (City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd.). It is a distinct system from the separately-operated Mumbai Metro. Only Line 1 (CBD Belapur to Pendhar, 11.10 km, 11 stations) is currently operational, having opened on 17 November 2023; further extensions and lines (toward Taloja, Kalamboli, Khandeshwar and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport) are planned but, as of mid-2026, have no confirmed construction-complete or opening date.
