Kochi Metro Parking: Rates & Which Stations Have It

If you're driving to a Kochi Metro station, here's what's publicly known about parking rates — with an honest caveat that the numbers below come from an official post whose exact date we couldn't pin down, so treat them as a solid estimate rather than gospel.

Hourly rates

Vehicle First 2 hours Extra hour
Car ₹25 ₹10
Two-wheeler ₹10 ₹5

Daily passes

Available at all stations except Aluva and Edappally: ₹80/day for cars, ₹40/day for two-wheelers.

Kochi1 Card discount

Cardholders get a meaningful cut on the daily pass: ₹64 for cars (₹20 for the first 2 hours + ₹8/extra hour) and ₹32 for two-wheelers (₹8 for the first 2 hours + ₹4/extra hour). If you're parking regularly, having the card pays for itself here too, on top of the 20% fare discount.

Where the bigger lots are

Aluva and Edappally — both end-of-line/park-and-ride hubs — have noticeably larger dedicated capacity than most other stations, so they're your best bet if you're worried about finding a spot.

A quick honesty note

These figures trace back to an official KMRL post that we couldn't confirm the date of, and KMRL's live parking-rates page publishes rates as an image rather than text we could read directly. The numbers above are the best available, but if getting the exact current rate matters to you, it's worth a quick check with station staff on arrival — rates may have moved since these were last confirmed.

Bottom line

Budget roughly ₹25/hr for a car (less with a Kochi1 Card), head to Aluva or Edappally if you want more parking capacity, and treat the exact figures as approximate rather than fixed.
